Q: How much of a role did workforce play in choosing Lowell as Your Business Location?

A: It had everything to do with it. One of the many reasons for choosing Lowell is that we wanted to be able to draw on the technology-savvy employment base of in the Northwest Boston Metro area and Southern New Hampshire.  We attribute our recent success as Inc. Magazine’s Fasted Growing Company in the Nation to the quality of the people we hire.  We’ve had great success in hiring people from this region.

Q: Was the location to major highways a factor in your decision?

A: I live in Concord, which is about a 20 minute reverse commute to Lowell. So of course the location was definitely a seller for me.   But it’s also a central location for most of our employees living in the region.  They are very thankful they don’t have to commute into Boston. Plus, it’s very easy for clients to find us. You can’t miss Cross Point Towers. We’re right at the junction of 495 and Rt 3.

Q: Were you concerned you may not get the same benefits in Lowell vs. other cities?

A: Absolutely not - In fact we get more for the dollar here. We have world-class telecommunications options and everything else we need at our fingertips. There’s a cafeteria, coffee shop, convenience store, fed-ex, dry cleaning, fitness center and even a hair salon – and that’s just in our building. Beyond the walls of Cross Point we also have a City that is thriving with arts, theatre and restaurants. The restaurants are great for our offsite meetings.

Q: Would you recommend Lowell to other businesses?

A: Yes. If you’re truly an entrepreneur, you’ll quickly come to realized that Lowell is a great choice because of its strong workforce, location and value.
