​Lowell is full of museums and galleries.  Here's what's happening at them in September!

American Textile History Museum (ATHM): "Fiberart International", thru Oct 26.

Arts League of Lowell (ALL) Gallery: "Elements III - Sculpture", thru Sept 28.

Boott Cotton Mills Museum: See exactly how a working mill actually looks.

The Brush Art Gallery & Artists Studios: "From the Ground Up: An Exhibition Celebrating the Joy of the Garden", thru Sept 13.  "Grand Smoke: The Art of Tom Gill", Sept 20 - Oct 18.

Gates Block Studios: Open the first Saturday of every month from 11-5PM. 34 working artist studios!

The Loading Dock Gallery: "Texture and Terrain: Intertwining Perspectives", thru Sept 28.

National Streetcar Museum: See the influence of street railways on the development of our cities.

New England Quilt Museum: "Down by the Old Mill Stream: Rhode Island Quilts & Historic Fashions", thru Oct 5.

Tsongas Industrial History Center: "Their Stories: Lowell's Youth and the Refugee Experience", September 9 thru Columbus Day.

University Gallery at UMass Lowell: "Singularity: The Unique Print", thru Sept 30.

Western Avenue Studios: Open the first Saturday of every month from 12-5PM. 245 working artist studios!

Whistler House Museum of Art: "Art Quilts 2014: How Does Your Garden Grow?", thru Sept 20.

Zeitgeist Gallery:  "Three Worlds: Cambodia, Lowell, and the places in Between" thru Sept 6.
