Monster Bash & Halloween Stroll Thursday, October 27 5 - 8 PM throughout downtown Lowell
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Lowell, the Cultural Organization of Lowell, and other community partners present a fun evening for ghouls and gals of all ages! Put on your best costume and head to downtown Lowell for the 12th Annual Monster Bash & Halloween Stroll, Thursday, October 27, from 5-8PM. A kids costume contest, a haunted house, haunted maze, live entertainment, and trick-or-treating at over 20 local businesses make this year's Monster Bash a spookTACULAR night!
Start your night at 5PM at the Masonic Center (79 Dutton Street) and pick up your FREE trick-or-treat bag while supplies last!

The Baystate Marathon, hosted by the Greater Lowell Road Runners, will occur this Sunday, October 16. The race, which is now in its 22nd year, is expected to have 3,000 runners, which is similar to the field of last year’s race.
The race starts at 8AM at the Tsongas Center in downtown Lowell and goes to the Tyngsborough Bridge and back into downtown Lowell, finishing at the Tsongas Center. The race lasts until approximately 2PM.

In celebration of its tenth anniversary, the Cultural Organization of Lowell (COOL) has commissioned Bootstrap Productions to compose an anthology, Young Angel Midnight: An Emerging Generation in the Arts of Lowell, featuring the artwork by some of Lowell’s most gifted emerging artists. This 200-page book featuring full-color reproductions also includes a previously unpublished poem by Lowell native, Jack Kerouac.

The 11th Annual Open Studios comes to Lowell this Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2, 11a.m. - 5p.m. Hop on and off the Lowell Open Studios Shuttle and visit hundreds of artistic spaces and meet local creatives practicing in every type of medium!
